We respect women by admiring them! by JABS

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it. -Confucius

Wikipedia has defined Beauty as
A characteristic of a person, animal, place, object, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning, or satisfaction… An "ideal beauty" is an entity which is admired, or possesses features widely attributed to beauty in a particular culture, for perfection.
As you may now know my topic for today is beauty.
The elusive idea in which it has been deemed subjective by most and scientifically measured through symmetry by some, this is beauty with all its ugliness.
I am here today to debate the level of beauty of current celebrities that has achieved stardom due to their physical appearance. So lets us start with:

Megan Fox
Despite her gorgeous face and sultry physical curvatures, her overwhelming “skin illustrations” made her less appealing to the conservative crowd. But despite this imperfection she has achieved celebrity status and her previous starring roles in the Transformers series did also help in cementing her as the most searched name in the internet. Now is she worthy of such an attention?
Lindsay Lohan
This is a woman who started as a child actress doing wholesome Disney movies but as time progressed she has evolved into a party hopping, drunk driving and drug addicted celebrity which is not really a surprise since mostHollywood child star had gone through the same path. Most people still deem her attractive, no the question is do you share the same perspective.

Women of Fiction

Women of fiction.

They are fictional characters created by talented individuals to entertain and educated us about a world beyond our limited imagination.

Wonder Woman

Let us start off with Wonder Woman. This character has transformed throughout the years and has successfully transcended from the world of print to television. This timeless character has adapted again to the changing times wherein the publishers has updated her costume to best suit contemporary time.

Lara Croft

Now this is a character defined by her sexuality, in all of her pixel glory. During the early 90's a lead female character for a video game has not been successfully marketed and nor was it financially successful. But as Lara Croft was launched most gamers enjoyed the appeal of being able to control a female character. Its engaging story and diverse game play also did help but the overall draw of a female lead character with both physical strength and intellectual powers is more than enough to win the hearts of gamer boys everywhere.
